Owing to the tremendous support of our donors, Last Wilderness Foundation has been able to pilot the first ever e-Rickshaw for the Pardhi community members as a source of livelihood. An environmentally sustainable and durable vehicle, the rickshaw will be available to ply tourists as well as everyday passengers on a daily basis.
The rickshaw will also double up as a ‘city tour’ vehicle in a soon to be announced ‘Panna darshan’ initiative. With this vehicle, people also have the opportunity to meet the first ever Pardhi lady driver, Tikia Bai Pardhi and her husband Biran Pardhi. So the next time you are in Panna, please do opt for this e-Rickshaw as your means of travel. It will be a journey you won’t regret.
