In June 2011, Last Wilderness Foundation donated a solar water pump to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve to facilitate the irrigation of the grassland at Bathan, which is one of the important sources of food for the herbivores. This water pump is also being used to provide electricity to the Patrolling Chowki there.
